Act on Promotion of Information And Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (partly amended 2002. 12. 18. Law No. 06797) - Article 50-2 (Prohibition on Unauthorized E-mail Collection)

➀ Anyone shall not collect email addresses through email collection programs or other technical devices from website including the explicit refusal of such unauthorized collection.

➁ Anyone shall not sell or distribute email addresses collected in violation of paragraph (1).

➂ Anyone shall not use email addresses in information transmission knowingly that those email addresses have been collected in violation of paragraph (1) and (2).

Article 65-2 (Penalty) Any of the following persons shall be punished by a fine not exceeding 10 million won.

➀ Anyone who uses other technical devices in violation of Article 50(4)

➁ Anyone who transmits promotional information for profits in violation of Article 50(6)

➂ Anyone who collects, sells, distributes, and uses for information transmission in violation of Article 50(2)
